Victoria Falls on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia in southern Africa is a great place for spiritual healing.
“More than twice as high as Niagara Falls and about a mile across, the absolute mass of this gusher is mind-boggling,” states CNN. The falls are a popular site in Africa and are commonly called the continent’s “paradise.”
Travelers can sometimes see the spray rising from the pool that Victoria Falls reaches from 30 miles away.
Several animal species add an exotic flair to the area, including baboons, elephants and hippos, according to the news source.
Some of the best places to view the falls include the Knife Edge Bridge, which overlooks the Eastern Cataract and the Main Falls. It also allows people who meditate to view the “Boiling Pot” in the Zambezi River where the river starts to cascade down Batoka Gorge.
The Lookout Tree and Main Bridge also have excellent vantage points. Visitors can walk around the falls, take a boat tour or even a plane ride over the cascade.
The rushing cascade of water soothes the soul and washes any troubles away. Many people who have read Ilche Lee’s books have found that a serene setting produces a peaceful mind, and a peaceful mind promotes mental health.
