Personal Identification Information
In order to use certain services on the Site, a user must first become a HealingSociety.org member ("Member") by completing our member registration form. We may request personal identification from you in connection with your use of, or participation in membership registration for HealingSociety.org. For your registration you are required to give information such as your name, e-mail address, zip code, birth year. Also you have the option to introduce yourself. Whenever you post message to a discussion board, the introduction of yourself in your profile is viewable by other users. The information provided will automatically become incorporated into "My Profile."

Optional Surveys
You may have the opportunity to participate in a number of surveys on the Site in which you will be asked to provide feedback on our current service. Also, in connection with your registration, users and Members may elect to participate in surveys (by checking the appropriate box) in which you will be asked to provide information such as your income level and education. We encourage you to complete surveys so that we can provide you with a more personalized experience on the Site.

Send to your Friend
If you elect to use the "Send this page !" or “ Share the Spirit with your Friend” referral service on the optional survey for informing your friend(s) about the Site, we ask for your friend's name(s) and e-mail address(es). HealingSociety.org will automatically send a one-time e-mail inviting your friend(s) to visit the Site. We will store this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time e-mail.

Declaration of Humanity
If you elect to participate in the Signing of the ‘Declaration of Humanity’, we ask for your name, town, Country and e-mail address. HealingSociety.org will store this information for the purpose of submitting the signature to the United Nations or similar organization to support the establishment of ‘Earth Human Day’ and informing the participants of the process and related events or services.

Shopping
In regards to both HealingSociety.org Shopping, the sale and fulfillment of items is handled by various third party merchants. Please note that when you provide information to the Site in connection with the purchase of anything from the Site, you are also providing such information to the respective third party merchant. HealingSociety.org is not responsible for the information collection or privacy practices of each third party merchant. Newsletter Subscription
If you would like to subscribe to the HealingSociety.org newsletter, we ask for your e-mail address. In order to unsubscribe to the newsletter, please send a blank e-mail with title of unsubscribe to healingsociety@newhuman.org.

Special Offers/Contests
Occasionally, HealingSociety.org may send Members information on special Member-only offers, Site updates, HealingSociety.org Store specials. HealingSociety.org presents the option to not receive these types of communications.

On-Line Discussion
We provide a discussion board and chats on the Site for discussing topics relating to spirituality. Although any visitor may read postings on a discussion board or in a chat, only Members may make posts. Please note that information you post to a discussion board or chat, the introduction of yourself in your profile, will be available for any user of that service to read, and is therefore no longer private.

On-Line Consultation
HealingSociety.org offers a consultation service to its Members. The name and the email address will remain confidential on the consultation board where the question and answer will be posted. However the case history or the basic physical information provided by the members may be posted if necessary to understand the answer to question.

The Use of Cookie Technology
A cookie is an element of data file containing information such as a user's login name that a website can send to your browser , which may then store it on your system. In our effort to provide you with services customized to your interests, we use "cookies" to assist in the collection of information. Security Policy
Protecting your privacy and your information is a top priority. We exercise great care in providing secure transmission of your information from your PC to our servers. However, no security system is impenetrable. HealingSociety.org cannot warrant or guarantee the security of its servers, nor can it guarantee that information that Members supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to HealingSociety.org over the Internet. When our registration/order form asks users to enter credit card numbers, that information is encrypted.

Correction of Information
If your personal identifiable information changes (such as your zip code), or if you no longer desire our service, we allow you to correct, update or remove the personal data that you provided. This can be done at the "My Profile" page by clicking on the "Edit My Profile" button. Keep in mind, however, that there will be residual information that will remain within HealingSociety.org’s databases, access logs, and other records, which may or may not contain such personally identifiable information.

Choice/ Opt out
If you “opt-in” to receive information from HealingSociety.org, you can change your mind later. You are given the opportunity to opt in or opt out of having your information used for purposes not directly related to the Site at the point where we ask for the information. For example, our registration form has an opt in and an opt out mechanism so that users who want to become a HealingSociety.org Member, but don't want any of our free products and services, can keep their e-mail address off of our lists.
